A man has died after a car collided with another car, a bus and lorry in Streatham Hill this morning.
The collision occurred on Streatham High Road near the junction with Mount Ephraim Road just before 8am.
A Lambeth police spokesman said it was not known if the man, thought to be in his 70s, died as a direct result of the collision.
The A23 Streatham Hill is closed southbound near the train station and there are delays on all approaches.
A London Ambulance spokeswoman said: “Sadly despite efforts to resuscitate the patient he was pronounced dead at the scene by the doctor of the air ambulance.”
An ambulance, air ambulance and car with a paramedic were sent to De Montfort Parade after receiving a call at 8.00am.
