A refugee cricketer received an award from sporting legends David Beckham and Muhammad Ali.
Matiullah Haider, 19, who lost most of his family in the conflict in Afghanistan, received the award at a ceremony in London for his work with Wallington-based charity, Cricket for Change.
Mr Haider is now an integral part of the Refugee Cricket Project (RCP), run by the charity and the Refugee Council.
He won the "Generation Ali Beyond Sport Award" at the Beyond Sport Summit for his support for the other young refugees that are part of the programme.
The teenager said: "I am delighted to have won the award and it was one of the most fantastic nights of my life".
Danny Baker, Cricket for Change training manager, said: "I am extremely proud of Matiullah and his achievements and he is a magnificent ambassador for young people in his community and the world."
