A bus has crashed into a bollard in Croydon.

The incident happened at about 9.40am when a 166 bus hit the post while travelling near the junction of Masons Avenue.

Nobody was injured in the crash but temporary road closures were put in place by police.

These have now been lifted but part of the pavement is still closed to pedestrians

I have a couple of good photos of this bus after it had crashed into the bollard taken from the rear of the crash and from the front too. Photos show all damage to bus and bollard.

Another Arriva "mishap". Not a post, as the headline says, not exactly a bollard, as in the story. More line an advertising display unit. But whatever it is, it is on the pavement, so how did he hit it? If only we could read his accident report, or see the CCTV from the bus. Thankfully no injuries. Article says it happened at 9:40pm. I think not. Try 09:40am this morning.

Instead of these bus companies going abroad to employ Polish drivers they should support and employ British drivers!
