A consultation was held for the proposed redevelopment of Wandle Valley trading estate in Hackbridge.
Charles Church Developments Ltd and City & Provincial Properties PLC held a public exhibition on their plans to develop Wandle Riverside- a sustainable development.
The scheme will include approximately 120 new homes; an enhanced public route along the River Wandle; and the opportunity to maintain long-term employment.
A website has also been launched to provide the local community with details on the proposal.
It is hoped the website along with the public exhibition will enable the developers to collect feedback from the public before a planning application is submitted to the council later this month.
Karl Endersby, the technical director of Charles Church said: "We were pleased with the turn out to the exhibition, which provided us with an ideal opportunity to meet the local community and discuss our plans with them."
