Man escapes uninjured after collision with lamppost in Leatherhead

Firefighters were called to the scene but the man had escaped unharmed
A man escaped without injury after his car smashed into a lamppost yesterday.
The accident happened at about 6pm on Kingston Road, Leatherhead.
Firefighters from Leatherhead fire station were called to the scene, but the uninjured man was already out of the car when they arrived.
One firefighter said: "The man was ok and was out of the car when we got there, so we helped made the scene safe."
