Heads were turned in the Centrale shopping centre as live mannequin Louise wowed the crowds in the latest La Senza lingerie.
Shocked passers-by double-taked as the seemingly still model, wearing a pink babydoll nightie, would wink and wave.
Staff from the newly rebranded La Senza store were on hand to ease the shock with a glass of pink champagne, sweets and some free perfume.
Full-time lingerie model Louise Peaple said: “People are surprised and shocked but they love it.
“I still get a bit nervous sometimes but I find it funny when they realise I’m not a mannequin.”
Louise said the reaction from men especially was great, with a fire engine once pulling up to say hello .
Speaking on the refit, branch manager Amanda Fernandez said on Friday: “The new store is pink, glitzy and glamorous.
“The reaction has been great. Everyone has been really excited and the store’s staff are highly motivated.
“It brings a wow factor.”
