Multiple Shards across the skyline, a flying Gherkin, a digital Big Ben – is this how London will look in 100 years’ time?
The images above, featuring hovering public transport and huge high-rise structures in among the capital’s famous present-day landmarks, provide an eye-popping vision of London in 2117.
These impressions of 22nd-century life, based around sci-fi films such as Blade Runner and Fifth Element, have been commissioned by corporate hospitality company Team Tactics to coincide with the launch of its new game that takes place around the city.

The Game of Zones team-building activity, inspired by classic 90s gameshow The Crystal Maze, has participants race around London and complete challenges across four zones – futuristic, medieval, industrial and ocean – completing interactive and fun challenges.

Tina Benson, managing director of Team Tactics, said: “The images were really amazing for us, it’s so interesting to see how advanced we might be in 100 years’ time, especially considering how far we’ve already come.
“The next century is destined to be one of the most technologically ground-breaking in human history and the blend of old and new will be interesting to see in London and cities across the world.”
