Children's author Steve Cole visited Whitgift School as part of his Young Bond: Shoot to Kill book tour
Youngsters wondering what to be when they grow up learned about the life of an MI6 spy by the name of Bond, a young James Bond to be precise.
Author Steve Cole told 300 children from across Croydon about how he had come up with the ideas for his book Young Bond: Shoot to Kill.
At the talk held at Whitgift School, Haling Park, South Croydon, on he explained how he became a fan of Ian Fleming’s super spy and shared the research behind his creation.
The audience then had their spy skills tested as he asked them how Bond are you?
It was followed by a book signing in the library.
