Giving out hampers to elderly people at Christmas is a seasonal tradition for charities and they are looking for help to ensure it can continue this year.
Last year Croydon Commitment and the Croydon Neighbourhood Care Association distributed 371 hampers and they want to beat that total.
They are hoping to give out 400 hampers and to do this are hoping organisations can help by donating jam, Christmas cake, dried fruit and nuts, mince pies, Christmas pudding, boxes of chocolates, fancy biscuits and boxes of fudges and toffee.
To help, choose an item your company wants to donate or fundraise for and let Croydon Commitment know as soon as possible.
Croydon Commitment will collect all gifts from across Croydon on December 3 and will in touch to arrange a collection time.
