A serious case review (SCR) has been launched after a four-year-old child sustained serious injuries.
The report, being carried out by Wandsworth’s safeguarding board, will not be published until after the trial of four people at Kingston Crown Court this October.
SCRs are undertaken when a child dies or is seriously injured, and abuse or neglect is known or suspected to be a factor.
It is understood that the final overview of the report is being completed but it cannot be published until the criminal proceedings are complete.
