Carhalton Athletic have been named community club of the year by the FA.
Sirs Trevor Brooking and Geoff Hurst were among the panel members at the FA community awards.
The club's chairman Frank Thompson will collect the award at Wembley during England's world cup qualifier against San Marino on October 12. He said: "Winning the national FA Charter Standard Community Club of the Year Award is without doubt one Carshalton Athletic FC's proudest moments in our long history."
"Everyone connected to the club - the coaches, the fans, our players at all levels - have contributed in some way to achieving this prize and I would like to thank them all for their hard work."
In the last four years the club has grown inexorably and now boasts seven women and girls teams, a girls football academy and over 40 youth sides.
Trevor Brooking, the FA's director of football, said: "This is a tremendous achievement and testament to the hard work and dedication the club has shown over the past year."
