Sutton tots inspired by the Olympics

The legacy of the Olympics could already be showing its face with some of the nation’s youngest future Olympians achieving medal success.

Children at Treetops Nursery, Grove Road, Sutton have taken part in a week long Olympics, recreating gymnastics, long jump and triple jump events and even the javelin.

Rachel Watts, from Treetops, said: “The children have been talking each day about new events they have seen, which is lovely to see at nursery as we also get to experience lots of wonderful new activities along with the children”

“The children’s understanding of these proceedings is amazing and they are all so proud of our Team GB and can’t wait to see what happens next.”
