Missing Sutton woman found after police search

A woman who went missing after walking out of her home in Sutton on Monday night while cooking dinner for her partner has been found.

Police were growing increasingly concerned about the whereabouts of Valerie Large, 63, who had not been seen or heard from since she walked out of her home in Grove Road, Sutton, at 6pm on February 7.

She turned up safe and well at home yesterday at 7pm after a major police search.

Police said the woman had spent most of Wednesday sitting at train station in south London before returning home on her own.
