Crooks have targeted two properties with uPVC doors over the weekend, prompting detectives to urge residents to pay extra attention to their home security.
Properties in Glastonbury Road and Dorchester Road, Rosehill, were broken into in the early hours of Sunday morning and detectives believe that in both cases the uPVC door had been closed but not locked with a key.
Detective constable Ben Cockburn said uPVC multi-locking doors were only secure if they were locked with a key from the inside.
