Anyone hoping for some respite from today's wet and windy weather, look away now - the coming week is shaping up to be just as gloomy.
Although temperatures are expected to stay relatively mild for the time of year, often creeping into the double digits, the Met Office is predicting showers and strong winds to be with us for most of the week.
Today's rain is expected to carry on and throughout tonight, according to the Met Office, with winds getting stronger going into Monday.
Tomorrow's high of 13 degrees will most likely feel chillier due to the blustery conditions, with patchy light rain.
The best chances to catch some sunshine are expected to be Tuesday and Wednesday, before the clouds roll back in later on in the week, bringing more rain.
The coldest night of the week is predicted to Tuesday, when the mercury is expected to drop to 3 degrees.
