Police have been alerted after a boy and girl were approached and followed by drivers in Sutton.

A boy was offered a lift after a silver car pulled up in Marshall's Road, Sutton, between 3.30pm and 4pm on Friday, November 13.

On Monday A girl was also followed by a white van near Stanley Park High School at about 2pm before it sped off.

Since November 1 there have been six reports made by schools where a child had been spoken to by a stranger, or made to feel uncomfortable by people in cars.

Five of these cases were reported to police.

Police advise children who are approached to make as much noise as possible, run to the nearest safe place and report what has happened to police immediately.
