Murder accused Ben Butler to stand trial in April
A father accused of murdering his six-year old daughter will now stand trial in April, after his appearance at the Old Bailey was pushed back.
Ben Butler, 35, of Westover Close, in Sutton, denies child cruelty and murdering his daughter Ellie Butler, who died from head injuries on Monday, October 28, 2013.
He was scheduled to appear today at the Old Bailey along with his partner Jennie Gray, 35, who denies one count of child cruelty.
The pair will now stand trial on April 5, 2016.
