UPDATE: Following huge support from the public Mason has returned home and is "safe and well".

 

A boy has been missing since leaving for school on Friday, May 8.

Mason Orchard, 14, left his mother's home in Carshalton but never turned up for school. He has not been seen since, Sutton police said.

The teenager is known to frequent Mitcham Junction and Epsom and Ewell although he is not believed to have any money, phone, or Oyster Card on him.

Mason is about 5ft 6in, slim, and was wearing a grey tracksuit bottoms, black hoodie, and grey/blue trainers.

PC Richard Owen, of Sutton Police Station, said: "We want to hear from Mason or anyone who knows where he is to check that he is safe and well."
