Concerns for the welfare of Jamie Franklin are growing after friends lost contact with him on the evening of Friday, February 20, the Metropolitan Police has said.

Mr Frankin, 32, was understood to be travelling to Brighton for a tattoo convention, but there are growing concerns after the 6ft 2in man from Sutton stopped being contactable.

Officers from the Sutton police missing persons unit said this was "completely out of character" for him to remain out of regular contact with close friends for such a length of time.

Mr Franklin, white and of slim build, has a distinctive heart tattoo on his arm and is said to make frequent use of London's rail and tube networks.

Those with information regarding Mr Franklin's whereabouts are asked to contact Sutton police by calling 101.
