As the saying goes 'All political careers end in failure' and at each General Election at least one high-profile MP is unceremoniously dumped by the voters.

Last time around eyes were on Richmond Park as Zac Goldsmith (left below) defeated sitting MP Susan Kramer (right below) turning the constituency from yellow to blue after a fierce election battle.

But this time around who will be most worried about losing their seat?

Though political winds blow hot and cold and surprises are always possible, one of the best measures to see who is running the risk of a trip to the job centre is the number of votes more than their nearest competitor they received last time (their majority).

Some MPs in 'safe seats' look almost unassailable - only a rebellion among dyed-in-the-wool Conservative voters in Esher and Walton would end Dominic Raab's fledgling career as an MP.

But if your name is Gavin Barwell in Croydon Central (Conservative), Paul Burstow in Sutton and Cheam (Liberal Democrat) or Sadiq Khan in Tooting (Labour) your inner confidence may be tested in the run-up to May 7.

This interactive data map shows the majority for each seat in south west London and north Surrey and which are the slimmest (highlighted in red), as well as the nearest challenger.
