A drunk BMW driver who lost control and flipped his car when he hit a speed bump and collided with a pedestrian near Hackbridge Railway Station has been disqualified for 20 months.
David Rivettt, 26, of New Road in Mitcham, was more than four times over the legal limit of alcohol at the time of the crash, Sutton police said.
He was fined £340 after pleading guilty at Croydon Magistrates' Court on Friday, November 28, and ordered to pay Crown Prosecution Service costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £34.
His disqualification of 20 months will be reduced by five months if a driving course is completed within a set time.
Rivett was said to have left a pub at 11.58pm on Tuesday, September 30, and was driving home when he crashed into a bus stop, a pedestrian at the bus stop, and two parked cars before coming to a halt in the middle of the road with the vehicle upside down.
The pedestrian suffered minor injuries.
