This year Ritchie Neville and Scott Robinson from the popular chart combo, whose hits included Slam Dunk (Da Funk) and When the Lights Go Out, will be in Sutton high street on Saturday November 15 for the big switch on.

The lights will go on at 5.30pm following a day of festive activities starting at noon.

First up will be the Hark the Herald carol singers with an angel stilt walker and a host of other entertainers while throughout the day DJ Mick Brown will be hosting community acts on the main stage, with giveaways planned throughout the afternoon.

Free face painting will run until 5pm in the St Nicolas Shopping Centre, outside Mothercare, and the Sutton land train returns for another day of free rides and festive cheer .

A Christmas Grotto, in the Times Square Shopping Centre, will be open and is supporting The Royal Marsden Hospital.
