People in Sutton can open up about mental health, and learn more about the issue through talks and activities on World Mental Health Day.
The council and mental health organisations will have representatives in Sutton High Street, talking about how people are affected by different illnesses, and the support available to them.
Mindfulness sessions will take place at Sutton Library, teaching people how to handle stress by focusing on the present moment.
At Trinity Square the Sutton Mental Health Foundation will talk about mental health and wellbeing, and the Talk Easy Trust will be on the High Street speaking about the mentoring they offer to young people.
The organisations will be based in Sutton High Street for World Mental Health Day from 10am to 4pm on Friday, October 10.
