Burglars struck twice in one day in Cheam this week, making off with high value items and causing damage to a house.
Between 2pm and 2.20pm on Wednesday, August 27, the burglars tried to break in through the front door of a house in High View.
The men ran off when an elderly man inside shouted: "What do you want?"
One of the burglars is described as being Asian, around 50-years-old, and of tubby build.
He was also said to be wearing a grey shirt.
Later that day burglars struck in the same road, making off with money, jewellery, and a laptop.
It is believed they entered the property through a window.
