A set of twin sisters are celebrating after gaining identical marks in their A-levels today.

Alina and Claire Dewshi, both 18, studied at Sutton High School in Cheam Road, Sutton.

The sisters high-fived each other this morning after finding out they had both gained an A* and two A’s in their respective subjects.

Alina, who will now go on to study law at Oxbridge, gained her marks in history, English literature and German.

Claire studied Chemistry, Biology and German, and will now study dentistry at Kings College London.

Alina said: "I was so shocked when I found out this morning, it is kind of sad to be leaving this nice little school, but great opportunities await at university."

The two sisters are from New Malden in Kingston-upon-Thames, and have been at the school since they were 6 years-old.

Claire said: "I was equally as shocked, but I am also really excited to be studying dentistry now."

Sutton High School achieved a 100% pass rate for the seventh year running today.
