More than 100 Santas braved the cold to dash around Nonsuch Park at the weekend.
Santas walked, jogged and some even sprinted the one mile course on Saturday morning (December 8) to raise money for St Raphael's Hospice in Cheam.
The Hospice needs to raise £3 million every year to offer the services it does to the sick and elderly.
Each runner paid £10 to enter the race, and was urged to raise at least £30 through sponsorship.
Our reporter James Pepper, who was confident about his chances prior to the 'race', met his match in the form of young Jonathan Burstow, son of MP Paul and Councillor Mary.
Mr Pepper raised £82 for the event, which is hoped to make a total of around £5k for the charity.
Keith Witham, director of fundraising at the hospice said: "We hope the dash will continue for many years. It's a wonderful family event and everyone gets in the spirit of things, they are very supportive."
