Scandinavian officials are visiting Lambeth today to see how services here tackle violence against women and girls.

Fifteen delegates are being given an overview of protection work and heard about the Gaia Centre that supports victims of gender violence.

Councillor Jack Hopkins, the council’s cabinet member for public protection, said he would use the event to outline how Lambeth was delivering “on our manifesto commitment to reducing violence”.
