School gymnasts put on Olympic show

Parents, staff and children were astounded by the breadth of skill and talent of senior gymnasts and dancers at Streatham & Clapham High School (SCHS). The group were performing to children from Ravenstone and Henry Cavendish primary schools who watched parts from SCHS's annual Summer Show, which this year has an Olympic theme.

Head of PE, Mrs Liz Basson, said: “We are counting down the days [to the Olympics] here at SCHS and it has given us huge pleasure to share our pre-Olympic excitement with children from our local community.

"We already have close links with a number of local schools through our hockey academy and eco projects, and we were delighted to welcome them to our Olympic celebrations”.
