A man in his 50s has been taken to hospital with stab wounds after a fight broke out in Tulse Hill this evening.

Police were called to the incident between Probyn Road and Hillside Road at about 7.30pm.

A spokesman said the man was taken to hospital after being stabbed in the leg but said his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.

Several people have been arrested following the fight and a police investigation is ongoing.

Christchurch Road is now closed westbound and the P13 bus route is being diverted via Probyn Road, Lanercost Road and Hillside Road.
