A 15-year-old boy has been stabbed to death after a fight at a West Norwood school.
Police said the teenager suffered multiple stab wounds in the incident this morning at Park Campus School in West Norwood.
It is believed a gang of youths came down to the school in Gipsy Road to attack the youth. A second teenager was stabbed in the arm.
Police believe the incident may be gang-related and a murder inquiry has been launched.
A police spokesman said: "Police were called at 0850 BST to reports of a male assaulted in Gipsy Road Gardens, SE27.
"Police, London Ambulance Service and an air ambulance attended the scene to find a 15-year-old male suffering multiple stab wounds.
"He was taken to a south London hospital and confirmed dead shortly after arrival."
He said next of kin had been informed and a formal identification was to take place soon, with a post mortem examination taking place in due course.
Three arrests have been made.
The second boy is being treated in his hospital for his injuries.
