An adorable ill puppy has been found dumped in a bag in West Norwood.
The defenceless black terrior, who is suffering from a hernia, was found on Sunday in Dunkirk Street.
He was collected by RSPCA Inspector Phil Norman who took him to the RSPCA Animal Hospital in Putney.
The puppy, who has been called Duncan, will stay at the hospital until he is well enough to go an RSPCA centre to be found a new home.
Inspector Norman said: "This poor puppy was probably dumped because of his condition.
"It is appalling that someone should abandon a tiny puppy like this just because he is ill."
