Boy shot in Streatham

A 15-year-old boy was shot in Streatham Hill last night.

Police were called to Tierney Road just before 8pm to reports that the teen had been shot.

The victim was taken to a south London hospital with gun shot wounds to the lower part of his body.

His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Officers from Operation Trident, which deals with crime in the black community, are investigating.
