One man was stabbed and another injured during a fight that happened in broad daylight outside Carphone Warehouse in Streatham High Road.

Police were called at around 4.20pm on Monday to deal with the brawl which is thought to have involved eight to 10 people.

A Met Police spokesman said: "Police and the ambulance service attended. Two males were suffering injuries. One was suffering stab injuries, the other assault injuries.

"Both have gone to hospital, but neither person's injuries are life-threatening."

Three arrests have been made, he added.

Shocked onlookers reported seeing pools of blood, and a blood-splattered trainer outside the store in the aftermath of the fight.

Ben Rathe posted on Twitter: "Something serious (and gruesome) happened at Carphone Warehouse in Streatham. Cordoned off by police and there is blood everywhere inside!"

He added: "Hope everyone involved is ok. Looked pretty nasty from outside!"

A spokesman for London Ambulance Service said two ambulances, a responder in a car and an air ambulance had attended the scene.

He said: "Our staff treated and stabilised one man who was reported to have been stabbed and he was taken to hospital by ambulance.

"A second person was treated and taken to hospital by ambulance."
