A fourth man has been charged after a burglary in Wimbledon which left a father-of-four with life changing injuries.

Academic Paul Kohler, 55, is still receiving treatment for multiple facial injuries and bruising to the body and limbs three months after the break-in at his home in Kings Road.

One man - Pawel Honc, 23, of no fixed address - has already admitted aggravated burglary and causing grievous bodily harm during the break-in on August 11.

Dawid Tychon, 29, was arrested on Wednesday, August 20, and appeared in Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, October 15, police said today.

Mr Tychon, of Elison Road, Streatham Vale, was remanded in custody to appear at Kingston Crown Court on Wednesday, November 26.

He will appear with Honc and two other defendants - Mariusz Tomaszewski, 32, of Pitcairn Road, Tooting, and Oskar Pawlowichz, 29, of no fixed abode.

Mr Tomaszewski has not yet entered a plea to charges of aggravated burglary and GBH.

Mr Pawlowichz has not yet entered a plea to charges of aggravated burglary and GBH with intent.
