South London commuters are facing delays this morning due to an obstruction on the line.

The obstruction, at Horley, is affected Southern and First Capital Connect services, with delays of up to 45 minutes.

Southern services between Victoria and Brighton are being hit, as are First Capital Connect between London Bridge and Brighton.

The delays are also affecting Gatwick Express and First Great Western services in the area.

It is not clear when services will return to normal.

What was the obstruction? Surely not too hard to find out. That photo is not Horley Station either.

Wasn't even an obstruction and dalays of 45minutes err my train was delayed by ooh zero minutes and i get on at horley! Was signal problem due to vandals at Gatwick, the obstruction was probably the men in orange suits sorting the problem! Come on transport people get it right!!
