The sun will struggle to break through today as south London and Surrey face up to a cloudy but dry day.
Met Office forecasters have predicted a warm day despite the sun struggling to break the cloudy start commuters have woken up to.
A forecaster said: "Generally cloudy and dry, but despite the limited sunny intervals it will become rather warm.
"This afternoon a few very light showers may develop near the south coast. Maximum temperature 14C."
As the evening draws in, clear periods may develop, before overnight cloud gathers with a possible patchy mist to form. Minimum temperature 5C.
Tomorrow is expected to start cloudy, with sunny spells occurring, especially in the afternoon.
"Rather warm, away from cooler coastal areas where patchy fog will arrive," the forecaster added.
Maximum temperature 14C.
