With 100 days to go until the capital’s mayoral and London Assembly elections, a website has launched to provide information on the poll.

London Elects has begun a three month campaign, informing Londoners about when and how they can vote. It also includes details of the areas of life affected by the work of London’s mayor and assembly members including policing, transport, housing, planning and the environment.

The election for the Mayor of London and the London Assembly takes place on May 3 and around 5.8 million people are registered and eligible to vote.

People from London Elects will also visit every borough in the coming months, while a fact-packed booklet will pop through residents' letterboxes.

A recent YouGov poll showed Labour’s Ken Livingstone with a two-point lead over current Tory mayor Boris Johnson.
