Woman charged with animal rights conspiracy

A Sunbury woman has been charged in connection with animal rights extremism.

Janet Lawrence, 53, faces a charge of conspiracy to blackmail laboratory operator Huntingdon Life Sciences along with five others.

Lawrence is due to appear in court in Aldershot on March 27 along with Thomas Harris, 24, Nicola Tapping, 26, and 51-year-old Sarah Whitehead, all from Littlehampton, and Jason Mullan, 29, and Nicole Vosper, 20, from Newquay.
