Home-cooked dishes made to order by your own personal chef sounds like the kind of luxury reserved for the rich and famous – but not anymore.

A new mobile app called Supper has launched in south west London for those looking for a homemade nutritious meal but don’t have the time, inspiration or – let’s face it – maybe even the ability.

Supper uses a growing team of London-based chefs who design and cook their own recipes in their own Kitchens, so users of the app can select a favourite chef or dish and have it delivered at a time that suits them.

The chefs source their own ingredients and set their own price, though the menus meet strict criteria for calorie, fat and salt content.

Supper’s creators plan to expand to other areas of the city by next year.

Single portions start from £9, including delivery, while couples can eat for £17 and a family of three for £23.
