A campaign bus is due to roll into the borough to highlight how tax dodgers are destroying the lives of poor people in the UK and abroad.
Christian Aid and Church Action on Poverty will ride their Tax Justice Bus to Teddington Methodist Church on Friday, September 14.
They have encouraged residents to get on board the red double decker between 3.30pm and 6pm and learn how they can help.
Niall Cooper, of Church Action on Poverty, said: “At a time when spending cuts are having a devastating impact on the UK’s poorest people and communities, tax dodging is morally unacceptable. It amounts to robbing the poor.
“If the Government just collected the £35bn of tax they know is going uncollected, they could invest properly in tackling UK poverty.”
