Gay council staff joined thousands of marchers in this year’s World Pride parade and celebrations in central London.
Fourteen members of Richmond Council’s staff support group took part with representatives from other authorities including Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Kingston and Kensington and Chelsea on Saturday, July 7.
They assembled in Baker Street with their banners, flags and whistles with about 25,000 people from all sections of the community.
They then marched for more than three hours down Oxford Street into Regent Street and along Piccadilly to Trafalgar Square.
