Drivers should be careful if travelling tomorrow morning as frost will develop overnight leading to slippery conditions.

Rain is expected this evening as the mostly dry weather in London gives way to frequent showers which could turn heavy at times.

The wet weather will give way to clear skies over the capital in the early hours of Tuesday morning leading to temperatures of 2C which will allow frost to form.

According to the Met Office, Tuesday will have a "frosty start" with occasional sunny spells but cloudier in the afternoon with the chance of a light shower.

It will be chilly overnight with a minimum temperature of 4C.

Wednesday to Friday will be mainly dry and cloudy with some light rain forecast for Friday. There is a risk of overnight frost throughout the week.
