A “naked person” was spotted on the roof of the mental health unit at West Middlesex Hospital this afternoon.
The hospital director, Tina Benson, confirmed there was an isolated incident at the Lakeside Mental Health unit this afternoon that meant people were unable to enter or exit car parking areas for about 45 minutes.
One eyewitness, who did not wish to be named, said it was because a naked person was on the hospital’s roof.
Ms Benson said: “A&E continued to run as normal during this period.
“We appreciate that this temporary closure caused inconvenience, and we apologise to anyone that was affected. This issue has now been resolved.”
