Twitter and Facebook were abuzz after a photograph was posted of a smouldering tree said to have been taken after a lightning strike in Ham last week.
Originally posted on the Ham and Petersham Social History Facebook group on Thursday, June 17, the image depicts a red-hot tree the morning after a lightning storm.
Searching the photograph on Google though suggests it may have first be posted on Reddit and originated in America.
