A businesswoman from Teddington, whose son died of leukaemia last year aged 35, is holding a cocktail party to raise funds for cancer research.
Annie Moore’s son Tom, who worked for the Premier League, had acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) diagnosed in September 2013 and died on January 23, 2014, after developing an infection which led to pneumonia.
Mr Moore’s wife, Katie, and his friends have already raised more than £12,000 for charity Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research, and his mother, who runs Church Road salon Vidatherapy, holds the cocktail party on March 30 at Teddington's Wharf.
Guests will be able to bid at auction for prizes including hospitality tickets to a Premier League football match and running shoes signed by Usain Bolt.
For more information call 020 8614 1199 or email info@vidatherapy.co.uk.
