A popular mallard made his triumphant return to Orleans House Gallery on Wednesday to begin his summer residency at the picturesque site.

Named Duck D'Orleans, the chipper bird returned for its third year at the Twickenham gallery, where he resides on the roof of the Coach House.

He is said to bear slight resemblance to a former Orleans House resident and last year hooked up with the Duckchess, who remains faithfully by his side.
