A bizarre piece of art work inspired by a mythical creature has gone on display at Orleans House Gallery.
Patrick Folkard's My Little Minotaur turned plenty heads as 250 guests attended the private viewing of the Metamorphosis exhibition on Monday, February 23.
The surreal piece, created from the torso of a plastic doll, balsa wood, papier maché and paint, is being sold for £740.
A label on the piece reads: "Minotaur - metamorphosis of man and beast.
"Did he look like this at birth or did his bovine features develop later?
"And did the Greeks have dolls depicting this strange creature?"
Journalist York Membery attended the opening of the exhibition and described My Little Minotaur as "unusual and eye-catching".
He added: "It is just such an unusual art work, you cannot miss it and it was attracting a lot of attention."
Metamophosis runs in two rooms at the gallery until May 16.
