Cake makers rise to the challenge for Barnes bake off
Cake bakers rose to the occasion as Hamptons estate agents held a Barnes bake off event.
Master baker James Parish, of the Parish Bakery in the High Street, judged the contest on February 10, with the winner earning John Lewis vouchers worth £50.
Katherine Phillips, from Barnes, won with her chocolate and raspberry torte which Mr Parish described as having a "fabulous sweet taste".
After the big event, the cakes were donated to the Viera Gray care home.
