Andrea Cully is delighted to be in the running for the award
A care home manager from Whitton has been shortlisted for the Great British Care awards for her work with people with learning disabilities.
Andrea Cully works at the Kneller Road care home, run by provider Regard, and is in the running for the registered care home manager award.
She said: "It was a big surprise when I was put forward for this award as I don’t feel I’m any better than any of my peers, but I’m deeply honoured to have been considered."
There are nine regional awards leading to the national finals, where the overall winner is announced.
The national awards are held at the Grosvenor House hotel in London in 2015.
