Archdeacon Cambridge's CofE Primary School took inspiration from the poppy display at the Tower of London to create their own.
Children planted poppies in a school field during their first history day in July, but unfortunately they did not grow by Armistice Day.
Undeterred, pupils made their own poppies and planted them in the memorial garden in the school's old wheat field.
The youngsters have also researched their family history to find links to the First World War.
